About Fraud Help Desk
Fraud Help Desk aims to protect people against fraud. And against other financially motivated crimes committed in or from the Netherlands. Our goal is to make citizens and businesses more cautious and more resilient against fraud. We publish updated information and alerts on our website, Facebook and Twitter. We do this to raise awareness of the dangers of scams and fraud.
We lend a helping hand to victims of fraud by referring them to the proper authorities. This saves them the trouble of finding out who to go to for help.
Fraud victims can also turn to us for advice. Sometimes, we refer them to government departments or other organizations for further assistance.
Fraud Help Desk does not have the legal right to do fact-finding research.
Contact
We are the Dutch national anti-fraud hotline. Please report scams, attempted fraud offences or suspicious activity to us. To do this, fill out our report form (it is in Dutch, but you can use Google translate on the form). We take every report seriously and will get back to you as soon as possible.

Our advisers at Fraud Help Desk are ready to take your questions or fraud reports on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between 9 a.m. and 12 a.m. and 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. (Central European Time, except public holidays). On Wednesdays, Fraud Help Desk is available from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m.

Your report matters!
Your report will help us get a clearer picture of fraud committed in or from the Netherlands. The information you provide will tell us what is happening in the world of fraud. This enables us to warn other people.
What do we do with your report?
First, we file your report in our database. We collect this information to get a better idea of the latest fraudulent activities or unfair trading practices. It enables us to refer victims to the right authorities and give specific warnings of such practices. We will treat the information you provide strictly confidentially, in accordance with national privacy legislation.
SafeCin foundation
With its activities and services, Fraud Help Desk is part of Stichting Aanpak Financieel-Economische Criminaliteit in Nederland. This foundation was established on 7 October 2003. It was set up to tackle financial and economic crime in the Netherlands. Known by its acronym SAFECIN, it is listed in the Trade Register of the Chamber of Commerce in Arnhem under number 09138148.
